Supply Chain Manager

Tiptree, Essex

ARM has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join a UK-based manufacturer on a permanent basis.

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Stock and Inventory Department within the business

The Role:

  • Develop and set effective minimum stock levels, in line with production needs.
  • Efficient stock turnover in line with budgeted targets (Inventory turnover ratio).
  • Ensure stock rotation is maintained for production minimising the presence of slow moving
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Support the return's function ensuring all returns are processed and stock control maintained.

Requirements:

  • Designed and implemented processes and procedures.
  • Must come form a manufacturing background
  • Lean principles and their application within a manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail
