An established and stable business that has grown organically and through a number of acquisitions in recent years. Now, with fresh investment, the next phase of growth is planned, which will see the team grow, new systems brought in, and new acquisitions.

In this newly created role of Finance Operations Manager, you will shape the future of the central finance function. With responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the transactional team, leading on outputs, controls, financial reporting, and system/process improvements. A great place to build your profile with the senior stakeholders you will be partnering with. 

In the role, you will be leading the team through change. Yes, there are process improvements to be made, along with implementing better controls.

Either through direct (x3) or indirect (x20) line management, you will be overseeing both the AP and AR teams. You'll need to bring demonstrable experience managing a large transactional or accounting team, with a solid track record in driving process improvements, enhancing team performance, and optimising financial workflows. As well as ideally being fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)

There are many legacy processes, systems, and ways of working. There are real opportunities to streamline, automate, and develop new practices. The business is in a period of transition and growth. In this role, there is a true opportunity for you to put your own stamp on things.

Reporting to a great CFO who is a strong leader and someone to learn a lot from. This role will grow in scope over the coming years, and you will be ideally positioned for future promotions.

Salary is £70,000 - £85,000 + 20% Bonus + plus benefits. Enhanced Holiday allowance, Healthcare, life cover, hybrid and flexible working. In the office 3 days a week with parking available.
