What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
Assisting with tax planning for a wide range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and individuals
Supporting HMRC enquiries and tax investigations, liaising with clients to provide necessary documentation
Providing advice on VAT, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax, supporting senior tax professionals
Conducting technical research on tax legislation changes to ensure clients receive up-to-date guidance
Working closely with accountants and senior tax staff, supporting tax compliance processes and deadlines
Developing strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for tax queries

What We’re Looking For

Part-qualified ATT, CTA, or ACCA, with a strong interest in tax
At least 1-2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice, with tax compliance exposure
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws and HMRC regulations
Proficiency in tax software such as CCH, IRIS, or similar platforms
Excellent communication skills, confident in dealing with clients and internal teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
A team player, keen to develop within a collaborative environment
