Role Responsibilities

Take lead responsibility for all statutory audits, ensuring high standards and compliance
Act as the primary client contact for audit services, managing client relationships and expectations
Plan audits with the Responsible Individual (RI) and senior team members, assessing risks and guiding the audit process
Supervise audit teams, providing on-site leadership and developing team members through coaching and feedback
Oversee audit progress, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld
Conduct closing meetings with clients and report key audit findings to the Client Partner and RI
Support the growth of the audit team by contributing to internal training programs and recruitment efforts
Assist in the development and implementation of the firm’s audit growth strategy

Candidate Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified with extensive post-qualification experience in audit
A minimum of 5 years of varied audit experience, with strong technical knowledge
Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead audit teams effectively
Excellent project management skills with a keen understanding of business and market trends
Strong leadership qualities with the ambition to progress to partnership
