Position: Financial AccountantContract Type: TemporaryLocation: Just a 7-minute walk from Staines train stationHourly Rate: £28 - £32 per hour Contract Length: 3 - 6 monthsStart Date: March 3, 2025End Date: June 3, 2025 (TBC)Working Pattern: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all financial accounts and finance systems
Leading the preparation of annual statutory accounts and regulatory returns
Managing day-to-day finance team operations
Overseeing purchase ledger, payroll, and revenue accounting
Managing the monthly ledger close process, including journal postings and reconciliations
Coordinating the annual external audit process with auditors and internal stakeholders
Maintaining and accurately recording the fixed asset register
Handling rent and service charge accounting, including annual increases and arrears reporting
Submitting regulatory returns in a timely manner, including NROSH SDR and Charity Commission returns
Overseeing the monthly payroll process to ensure timely and accurate employee payments
Implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures
